Technical GEO Audit
AI-SEARCH VISIBILITY

Great content only wins in AI search if it's built to be found.

See how ready yours really is.

See how technically ready your website is for AI search. Seven checks covering whether ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews can reach your pages, fetch them, read them, parse them, and attribute what they find to you. We run every check across three page types, then benchmark you directly against up to three of your competitors.

Common questions

Everything you need to know.

GEO is generative engine optimisation, the work of getting your brand into AI-generated answers. This is the technical half of it: whether ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews can reach your site, render it, parse it, and attribute what they find to you. We score your site against those signals, so you see exactly where you stand and where the gaps are.

Seven checks: crawler access and permissions, crawl path and fetch economics, renderable content, parseability, structured data and entity graph, provenance and freshness, and indexation and citation surface. Each is scored out of five on five pass-or-fail sub-checks, thirty-five in total, and each runs across your homepage, a blog post, and a product or service page.

Seven checks, each out of five, averaged into an overall score and mapped to one of five tiers: Absent, Foundational, Developing, Competitive or Leading. Every point comes from a pass-or-fail sub-check with a fixed threshold, so the same evidence produces the same score every time. Access and renderability are gating: a site that's blocked, barred or de-indexed is capped at Developing however good the rest is.

Yes, and we tell you whether yours is correctly formed. We don't score it. Ahrefs analysed 137,000 sites and found 97% of llms.txt files received zero traffic, and Google has said Search doesn't use them. Where they do get read is developer tooling, not answer engines.

Add up to three competitor domains when you submit your request. We run the same checks across all of them and give you a side-by-side comparison. You'll see where you're ahead, where you're behind, and which gaps are worth fixing first.

Marketing leaders and web teams at B2B companies who want to know where they actually stand in AI search. You don't need to be technical to get value from it. The report is built to be read by leadership and handed straight to developers.

We'll be in touch within two business days to arrange a time to walk you through the findings. The report is shareable, so you can run it through your team from there.

That's up to you. The report comes with a prioritised fix list your web team can pick up immediately. If you'd like help implementing the changes or building a full AI-search visibility programme, we're happy to talk.

SEO audits optimise for how search engines rank pages. A Technical GEO Audit asks whether AI models can read, understand and cite your content at all. A lot of the ground overlaps, because AI crawlers and search crawlers want similar things. The gaps between them are what matters, and most SEO tools don't touch them.
